Company Overview

Gilmore Research, Inc. (GRI) has been providing computer system solutions for businesses nationwide since 1977. Our company is based in Aurora, Illinois along the designated High Technology Corridor. GRI remains privately held with active ownership involvement and maintains an excellent credit record.

Business Scope

In the late 1970's GRI's primary business was providing complete data processing solutions, including hardware, software and support for a variety of industries.  In 1990 Gilmore developed a business relationship with Medical Data Systems of Portland, Oregon.  Medical Data Systems (MDS) was founded in 1988 and is staffed by ex-CyCare Systems employees.  In this arrangement Gilmore provided and staged hardware and operating systems and Medical Data Systems provided it MD-Manager application software and support.

The GRI/MDS relationship developed and prospered.  In 1993 the two companies formally joined together when MDS' Midwest staff moving into Gilmore's facilities.  In 1995 MDS' research and development and support staff moved to Aurora.  Later that year, Gilmore acquired ownership of the MD-Manager software.  Now all product development, sales and support are managed from GRI's Aurora facility.

Employees

The core of Gilmore Research's technical staff are experienced in application software, a variety of operating systems, and hardware platforms.  Backgrounds include technical experience with such companies as General Electric, IBM, International Paper, CyCare Systems and others.  Employees average over 25 years experience in the computer industry.

For example, the key front line support staff for the MD-Manager, MD², and MH² Windows -Based System includes two individuals representing over 20 years with CyCare Systems with most of that time spent in research and development and user support.

Clients

MD-Manager users represent a range of practice types, sizes and management requirements.  In the Midwest region users are located in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan.  Hundreds of users located in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington and Nevada now rely on the MD-Manager, MD^2, and MH² to handle their most demanding processing needs.
