Vaccine Control System

VCS, the newest product from Gilmore Research, is a comprehensive Inventory Control and Ordering system for injectibles.

It contains a number of productivity enhancers for your nursing staff, such as the ability to pick the Lot number of the vaccine from a list, rather than keying it into your EMR system after each vaccination. The system improves workflow and handles the complexities of the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program (including separate inventories for VFC and practice-owned vaccines).

Vaccine Information Sheets in the patient's native language are produced automatically after each vaccination. These VIS sheets are automatically updated whenever they are changed by the CDC, ensuring that you are always compliant with requirements in this area.

VCS helps you minimize re-schedules caused by vaccine shortages, saving your staff time and improving patient satisfaction.

Other features include easy Lot traceability, tools to speed the re-order process, and extensive reporting to insure that you have the vaccine you need when you need it and that every vaccination gets billed.

VCS may be used as a stand-alone system or interfaced with your current or contemplated EMR system.

MD2/4010 Viewer

The  Viewer is designed to decode the ASC X12N 837 (004010X098) professional claim files and error reports.  The Viewer displays the claim file with easy-to-read descriptive field names, record codes, loops, line numbers and patient data.  This enables any billing staff member to see claims in a format they understand and help them converse with insurance carriers in their terms of “loops” and “line numbers.”  When a 997 error report is accessed, the Viewer automatically finds and loads the corresponding claim file, finds the problem records and highlights them for easy identification.  The MD2/4010 Viewer is a valuable tool that helps eliminate the need for pay-to-play claims clearing houses and reduces claims processing costs.

MD2/4010 Claim Maker

The MD2/4010 Claim Maker lets you automatically convert CMS1500 paper claims into ready-to-send 4010A1 (ASC X12N 837 (004010X098)) professional claim files.  With this state-of-the-art tool you can save big bucks by bypassing the pay to play clearing houses and submit claims directly to the carriers and no-charge BCBS sponsored clearing houses.  This eliminates monthly claim processing fees and per claim submission charges.  The Claim Maker creates electronic claims for Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, RR Medicare, commercial claims, etc.

To use the Claim Maker you simply “print” your claims to a file from your practice management system.  Then the print file is accessed by the Claim Maker which converts the print file to a HIPAA compliant, ready-to-transmit 4010A1 electronic claim file.

Why pay to submit your claims when you can do it yourself at no charge.  The MD2/4010 Claim Maker is a valuable tool that helps eliminate the need for pay-to-play claims clearing houses and reduces claims processing costs.
